MASTERS TRIVIA. No. 3

David Lynn, who briefly held the lead during an opening-round 68: “I was on the ninth, and my caddie said, ‘You’re leading The Masters.  I said, ‘I’d rather be leading it Sunday afternoon.’"

Tiger Woods, RoryMcIlroy, Nick Watney and others from the Nike stable are wearing items from the Nike Spring 2013 Collection.  Apparently their new line in golf apparel is made with the most advanced technology, such as "laser perforations, no-sew bonding" and ultra-lightweight materials which give maximum ventilation.  The list price of Tiger's polo shirts ranges from eighty to ninety five dollars

Welshman Jamie Donaldson made a memorable start to his first Masters with a sensational hole -in -one on the 180-yard, par-three sixth at Augusta.  He became the fifth golfer to record an ace on the sixth hole, known as Juniper, and the first since Chris DiMarco in 2004.   Donaldson’s shot was the 24th hole-in-one in Masters history.

2012 was the year of the hole-in-one at Augusta.  Amazingly, Bo Van Pelt and Adam Scott both holed aces on No. 16, and Martin Kaymer skimmed a ball across the lake to hit an astonishing hole-in-one on the 16th during a practise round.  Not only that, but Mark Wilson, Craig Stadler and Thomas Bjorn all made aces during the rain-swept par three contest, on the 4th, 1st and 9th holes.
